BECOMING A NINER Application Forms are available in the Pro Shop Submit application form, latest handicap card, LOP Lady Niner dues, Women's Nine Hole Golf Assoc.(WNHGA) dues and Golf Handicap Index (GHIN) fees to Co-Captain, payable to LOP Lady Niners. A temporary index and a Niner sponsor will be assigned to join applicant for Tuesday play. Golfers who have not established a 9-hole or 18-hole index should submit their application and LOP Lady Niners dues to the Co-Captain. A Niner sponsor will be assigned to join applicant for Tuesday play while establishing a handicap. A 9-hole handicap is established by collecting 10 dated and attested scorecards from the LOP course within a 12 month period,  5 rounds on the front nine and 5 rounds on the back nine. Scorecards should indicate whether each round was played from the red or gold tees. These scorecards should list a second player's score and signature. The scores of prospective Niners will not be entered in the tournament of the day until the handicap is established. Submit to the Handicapper the scorecards for the required 10 rounds with WNHGA dues and GHIN fees payable to LOP Lady Niners. The Handicapper will issue a temporary index.

MEMBERSHIP The club includes regular,  social and Junior members. Members should be at least 18 years of age, (under 18 see below) associate members or residents of LOP in good standing with the Association, and non- LOP members may join up to a maximum of 25% of the total membership. Members are subject to all dues, may participate in all club events, may vote and hold office and must serve a minimum of one day per year in the service and fund-raising effort of the Snack Shack at the ninth tee. A Niner may not be a dues paying member of any organized eighteen-hole golf group. However, a member may have an eighteen-hole computerized handicap. Social members, those who do not belong to other golfing groups, are not golfing, but wish to participate in social events of the group are welcome. Niner dues are payable November 1 for the annual year beginning January 1 of each year. Junior Members, those girls under 18 years old with an adult lady Niner sponsor.  The girl must be able to shoot a score of 65 or under from the Gold Tees, and must understand the rules and etiquette of golf.  Junior Members will not be eligible to participate in the sweeps New Member Application Membership Renewal Form 9er Committee volunteers 2011.doc
